Discover more than 100 captivating sculptures set across the gardens and woodland, as the Winter Sculpture Exhibition transforms RHS Garden Rosemoor in North Devon, from 13 November 2021 to 31 January 2022, 10am - 4pm.
This year, the exhibition features the work of 27 sculptors from across the UK, including local artists from the West Country. Their sculptures range from fluid and hypnotic installations, to thought-provoking, large-scale pieces that will stop you in your tracks.
Created using a wide range of materials and techniques, the pieces have been selected to confront and even challenge visitors with their dramatic material statements and enigmatic qualities.
Rosemoor’s winter landscape offers a serene and peaceful setting to enjoy the exhibition. As foliage turns and falls, the structural elements of the garden come to the fore, complemented by the careful placement of the sculptures.
The quality of winter light is an important consideration when looking for the ideal location. Under the soft rays of the low-angled sun, light and shade cast dramatic highlights, while frosty or misty weather adds a wonderful ethereal feel.
Clare’s sculptures are available to purchase or can be made on commission. Every sale helps to support the RHS work as a charity.
